Legacy
MEANINGFUL, LASTING IMPACT
At the Arizona Sports & Events Alliance, we believe hosting a major event is only part of the story — what matters just as much is what’s left behind. Legacy is at the heart of our mission. It’s how we create meaningful, lasting impact for communities across Arizona long after the crowds have gone home. Through collaborative partnerships and community-driven programs, we ensure each event gives back in ways that are relevant, measurable, and lasting.
Men’s Final Four Legacy Project
In partnership with the NCAA and Degree®, the NCAA Men’s Final Four Legacy Project refurbished indoor and outdoor basketball courts at the historic Eastlake Park in central Phoenix. The project delivered new courts and hoops. updated equipment to the indoor and outdoor facilities, and a 50-foot mural honoring prominent figures from Phoenix’s civil rights history. Serving 30,000 people annually, the renovated courts will inspire the next generation of basketball stars in Phoenix.
Arizona Super Bowl Legacy Grants
Arizona Super Bowl Legacy Grants provided direct support to local community projects that created long-term value across Arizona. From infrastructure upgrades and beautification efforts to educational programming and youth services, these grants were designed to ensure that the benefits of hosting major events extended far beyond event day — strengthening neighborhoods, supporting local organizations, and leaving a positive, lasting mark on the communities we served.
