FORT WORTH – PBR (Professional Bull Riders), in partnership with Arizona Sports & Events Alliance, today announced the 2027 PBR World Finals: Championship will be held in Glendale, Ariz., at Desert Diamond Arena from May 20-23, bringing one of the most grueling and electrifying championships in sports to a new market as part of a long-term vision to continue to grow the sport nationwide.

Earlier this week, TKO Group Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: TKO), together with the Arizona Sports & Events Alliance, announced a multi-year partnership to bring some of TKO’s most high-profile events to Arizona, including PBR World Finals.
“Arizona is a proven championship stage – home to Super Bowls, College Football Playoff games, and the Fiesta Bowl – and a strong market for PBR, where we’ve held premier events at Desert Diamond Arena for more than a decade and where the Arizona Ridge Riders have built a passionate fan base since becoming one of the league’s founding teams in 2022,” said Sean Gleason, CEO and Commissioner, PBR. “Bringing our championship weekend to Glendale puts our sport on that same world-class platform. At the same time, PBR will continue to grow our presence in our headquarters city of Fort Worth with numerous events in bull riding and rodeo throughout the year.”
“We’re honored to bring the premier championship event in professional bull riding to Arizona,” said Jay Parry, President & CEO of the Arizona Sports & Events Alliance. “Glendale and the broader Arizona market provide an ideal stage for a high-energy championship weekend that naturally fits our community and fan base. We look forward to welcoming the world’s top riders, bulls and fans while further showcasing our state as a premier destination for major live sports and entertainment events.”
PBR World Finals had been held in Las Vegas from 1994 until 2021. In 2022, the championship moved to Texas, home to the organization’s headquarters in Fort Worth, where PBR will continue to play a vital role, programming more than 360 events annually at iconic Cowtown Coliseum and contributing to the growth and revitalization of the historic Stockyards. The opening rounds of 2027 World Finals will be held on May 6-9 at Cowtown Coliseum prior to championship weekend in Glendale. Additionally, the Texas Rattlers, 2023 Champions in PBR Teams, host their annual homestand at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth.
